Turning To So Many Shades Of Gray

While I was sitting in my living room on Monday night, watching a bit of television with the Missus, and reading Monday's The New York Times I read this piece written by Bettina Elias Siegel.  It struck a chord.

If you are a parent with a school-age child or children or, as I am, a parent who once upon a lifetime ago had school-age children, then perhaps it shall resonate with you as well.  I heartily recommend it.

Food for thought, right?  And who among us prefers to spend our day attempting to suppress hunger pangs?  Me neither.

I need my strength for King of the Mountain this afternoon...
